Flipping a Coin: Theoretical and Experimental Probability
A hands-on experiment I use after introducing theoretical probability. Students calculate how many times they should theoretically get tails before they begin, then calculate new probabilities as they go along based on their experiments.

When teaching my 7th graders probability, I was surprised to find that many did not know what types of cards where in a standard deck of playing cards. So I created this insert for their journals as a reference.
