A fun foldable to review or teach graphing rational functions. The dominance rule to determine horizontal or asymptotes is demonstrated with three parts of the foldable. Within each part students must calculate the x-intercept(s), y-intercept, vertical asymptote(s), horizontal asymptote, and slanted asymptote. I left a little bit of room below the graphs to do a sign chart or find function values.
A fun foldable to teach or review local/relative extrema and absolute extrema. One example is included using the TI 84 calculator but additional pages are left blank in case you use a different calculator or want more space to write.
This activity is designed for students how have worked with special angles in Geometry and Trig. Functions. It is a flow chart with a column for what they learned about special right triangles, a column for Trig. functions, then a column used to change each side length so that the hypotenuse is 1. The second page is a blank unit circle to be filled in. Quadrants II, III, and IV are intentionally left blank.
A fun foldable to teach or review average rate of change. The foldable contains the definition with a diagram, two examples given a function, and two word problems.
This one page handy reference helps identify when each type of set notations are utilized, and also has a list of set notations. This is a great idea for an Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry of Calculus interactive notebook.

Two fun foldables to teach composite functions.
The first foldable contains the definition, steps to find the composite function and two examples given two functions.
The second foldable contains one example with two functions, one table, one graph, and one word problem.

This book is intended to help students with reading mathematics correctly. As a Calculus teacher, I have discovered that many of my upper level math students still struggle with reading mathematical expressions and equations correctly. When a student lacks mathematical literacy, they are prevented from being successful in all levels of math. This book allows students who are visual learners to use graphic organizers to help them read and solve mathematical equations correctly. This book focus
This handy reference chart makes an excellent addition to any math notebook. It includes a half-page and a full-page version so that you can select the one that works best in your teaching environment. Please see the preview file for a look at the product.

This extended venn diagram helps students put all the different types of numbers together. Beginning with whole numbers, it extends to integers, then rational, then reals, then complex numbers, noting at each stage what additional types of numbers are being included.
