Open-ended questions coordinate geometry geometric translations
A set of 5 open-ended problems (one for each day of the week) applying coordinate geometry and geometric translations. Modeled after those types of open-ended questions that appear on state standardized graduation tests. Comes with answer keys and a 4-point scoring rubric that's applicable to all 5 problems in the set. Introduction to Equations of Circles
This product gives an introduction to writing equations of circles given the center and radius and graphing circles given the equation. I print off the product as a handout with two slides per page. It creates a nice front to back handout for students to work out the problems.

Volume and Surface Area of Cylinder and Rectangular Prism Formula Guide
This Smartboard notebook file can be used as handouts for students who struggle with setting up their formulas or it can be used on a smartboard. The first set of slides only have boxes. The second set of slides is color coded to assist students even more. I use this with my 7th grade special education students.
It is best to print these in landscape form front and back with one slide per page.

Classifying Angles
This introductory lesson reviews vocabulary for classifying angles as well as beginning stages of identifying missing angles. In my classroom, I print out the notebook file with two pages per slide and use them as notes for students. Many of the questions have answers included via "fade in" and others are left blank to allow for student interaction with the whiteboard.
