SMARTboard Editing Activity: Musical Editing
I use this activity for every major writing assignment, and students never get sick of it. It is a great way for students to collaborate and peer-edit in a structured, yet fun way! It is played like musical chairs. Each round the music starts and students walk (or better yet dance!) around the room. When the music stops, they go to the seat nearest to them. Each round students edit for a specific item, making it easy for them to focus what they are looking for.
