Bob Dylan Wins the Nobel Prize: Practice with Synthesis
Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2016. The award has been met with controversy as critics have asked if a singer-songwriter equals the literary merit of a novelist, dramatist, or poet. Students will view supporting video clips on Bob Dylan and his music. The songs “With God On Our Side” and “Masters of War” are analyzed and examined.
