Challenge and engage students with this fun practice activity for transformations! Students must translate, reflect, rotate, and dilate figures to create winter emojis on coordinate planes. 10 exercises will challenge students to complete a variety of transformations in order to create an emoji (like a snowflake, sneezing emoji face, mountain, etc.). Hexagonal Snowflakes
This simple fun lesson is used to reinforce reflective symmetry and to introduce construction of a hexagon in a circle, as well as rotational symmetry.
