This is a wonderful way to check in with elementary students and assess their socio-emotional needs. It's also a brilliant way to incorporate daily writing into the classroom agenda. These were hole-punched and put in binders for my homeschoolers. In a full classroom, I'd print and cut them and use them as warm-ups or exit tickets. They could also be laminated and reused to conserve paper.
