This handout is a guide I use to set up class discussion so students stay on topic, are constructive and engaged in critical thinking. Depending on the level of the students, you can change the amount of points earned to receive an A. Typically this guide works well for honors class but can used(if practiced frequently )with college prep. It takes time for them to catch on but when they do, the discussion is wonderful! I make a chart with the students' names and check it off for easy scoring.
