What educators are saying

This was a super cute way to welcome the new year. We used the glasses to create two goals: one for home and one for school.
Great resource! My students were highly engaged and it made a cute bulletin board to start the new year after winter break! Thanks!

Description

Your class can celebrate and set resolutions with this 2024 new year's activity! It's a sunglasses writing craft that also comes with letters for a new year's bulletin board.

*This resource will now be updated annually so that you can use it year after year with each new class.*

*Please note: this resource was previously a "2020 Vision" writing craft for the year 2020, and it has been re-vamped to be able to used again for 2024! If you already purchased the 2020 version, you can re-download this new one for free :)

Students write down 2 new year's resolutions (or what they are "looking" forward to) on the lenses of the sunglasses, which they paste onto a picture of their face. Kids can paint or watercolor the face and hair, or color with crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc.

Back them all on brightly colored construction paper, and it makes for a festive new year's bulletin board!

This download comes with:

-2 different sets of sunglasses templates (with or without lines, for writing and/or illustrating)

-4 different face template options (with or without "I'm looking forward to 2024" heading)

-Bulletin board letters that can be cut out to spell: "2024 is looking bright!"
