USE IN THE CLASSROOM: I used these tools with moderate-severe students on the autism spectrum, but can be used with any student who is non-verbal. I worked with k/1st grade and 2nd-3rd. This helped my students who did use words to begin to create more novel utterances with LESS prompts and expanding their communication functions (greetings, protesting, commenting, showing affections, requesting more, giving opinions, etc).
