This complete no-prep lesson includes an editable PowerPoint presentation, student handout in both Google and Print formats, and 7 documents showing various achievements of Ancient India for a gallery walk.
The Lesson flows as follows:
1- A warm-up question (on PowerPoint and student handout)
2- A brief introduction to the topic of achievements in Ancient India (PowerPoint)
3- Students hypothesize which of the 7 achievements they believe will have to biggest impact
4- Gallery Walk (or stations) printed or digital
5- Students re-visit the question: which achievement had biggest impact?
6- Discussion of their findings
This lesson is the "A" in my GRAPES series (Geography, Religion, Achievements, Politics, Economy and Society)
The lesson will take one 45-50 minute period and is suitable for 6-9 grade
