What educators are saying

This resource helped ensure that I hit all of my standards goals! It fit seamlessly into my curriculum.
Too many times, Ancient Israel gets lumped into Mesopotamia or Egypt. It is refreshing to have a detailed and engaging source to use. My class enjoyed and learned a lot.

Description

Hebrews, Israelites, and their Origins! Learn about Hebrews in a fun and active way! In this highly-engaging Hebrews activity, students begin with reading an engaging and challenging text set focused on the Hebrews, the enslavement of the Israelites, Canaan, Philistines, Moses, Abraham, Jacob, and the 12 Tribes!

Students work individually or in partner-pairs to analyze the origin of the Hebrews, the role of Abraham, the enslavement of the Jewish people in Egypt, the role of the 12 tribes, the exodus (led by Moses) out of Egypt and into Canaan.

Once finished, students participate in a fun and engaging Question and Answer game!
