CHECK OUT THE PREVIEW TO SEE SOME OF THE RESOURCES FIRST HAND

Covering early world history in summer school is challenging. It’s hard to fit all the content in a whole school year, but in the summer you have to do it in 6 WEEKS!

My Overview lessons fit the bill. They offer a summary of an event (Scientific Revolution, Protestant Reformation, etc.) with several short activities to engage the students deeply with the content. This enables them to get a good grasp of a topic without spending days on details.

This is interspersed with other lesson styles for variety and engagement.

Frequently asked questions:

What is and is not editable?

The slides are fully editable. The student handouts and documents are PDFs and not editable. The digital version of the student handouts are also not editable (other than adding a textbox over existing text)

Who is this resource NOT appropriate for?

This curriculum was designed for 9th grade world history covering the paleolithic era through the French Revolution.

Why should I invest my hard-earned money on this resource?

By purchasing this resource you're getting everything you need to teach the content in 6 weeks. It would take weeks of work to do this yourself. Also, it requires absolutely no preparation and you can use it again and again.
