Description

I used these STEM activities with my students as a way to celebrate my birthday with them during science class. These activities could also be used to celebrate a classmate’s birthday, a fun class reward, or as a team-building activity.

This resource includes 6 birthday party themed STEM activities:

Create a Birthday Cake with Legos

Design a Birthday Banner

Wrap a Present

Stacking Party Hats

Balloon Tower

Party Game Race

All of the materials needed for these activities can be found in your classroom, at Dollar Tree/Target Dollar Spot, and supplies that your students already have.

Students can complete these activities either independently or in groups. Each activity comes with a recording sheet with instructions, an area to write a plan/design, and an opportunity for reflection.
