What educators are saying

WOW! This was an awesome project for students to complete in my law and public safety class. They were very invested in creating a great prison. I put the posters up in the hallway and students were very proud of showing off their work. This is an excellent resource!

Description

This is the "create your own prison" group project that I use in my classroom at the end of the corrections unit. It includes everything that the students will need to prepare for the prison project. It includes a grading breakdown, planning sections for students to plan the different aspects of their prison (design, daily schedule for inmates, inmate uniforms, rules violation procedures, inmate visitation procedures, work, school, and treatment procedures, etc). Also included is a group evaluation form. I usually spend a week in class allowing students to research, build, and present their prisons.
