Description
Day of the Dead - Día de los Muertos Pop Art collaborative poster. Each student colors one portion of the poster — when put together, says, "Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead."
Each piece of the poster has colors assigned to it. This poster is designed like a POP ART poster with 4 skulls, all with bright background colors and pop art dots!
There are options to do this poster with the color key in English or in Spanish (instructions are in English).

Poster Options
This poster includes 2 variations to accommodate different class sizes.
Option #1 Use all 30 pieces of the poster for the complete poster design. The final poster will be approx. 35" x 42" (depending on printer settings) and create a 5x6 rectangular grid poster.
Option #2 Use only 25 pieces (for smaller classes) and create a portion of the poster that leaves off the text at the bottom. This poster will yield a poster approx. 35" x 35" for a square poster that is a 5x5 grid.
Spanish Option:
I have included pages where the colors are assigned in Spanish. Instructions are in English.
Bonus Activities:
The benefits of doing this kind of collaboration project are apparent once you’ve made one. However, the one drawback is that the kids don’t get to keep anything for themselves. To provide you with something children can take home. I have included two bonuses, individual activities. You will find that I have included a one-page coloring sheet and one of my “unscramble” pages of the sugar skull design.
