    Description

This is a bundle that includes 3 of our popular projects for the Economics classroom. You can spread out the projects throughout the semester and assign them as you teach each topic through the course. The hands-on nature of the projects allows students to take a hands-on approach to the concepts they're learning. There is room for student choice and creativity with the content. These projects can be done individually or collaboratively in groups.

    The projects include:

In the stock market project, students research a major top company from the stock market and input the information onto a nice poster for display. Students will sign up for a company in the stock market to learn about the company's background, factors of production, financial/stock information, stock performance, new releases, and will culminate in their own analysis.

In the entrepreneur project, students come up with their own business idea! The material covers key economic components of what it takes to start a business. The end result is a fun simulation in which groups of students create a fun presentation about their unique good or service. The project works best in groups, but can be assigned individually as well.  Students will: Participate in Warm ups/ Exit tickets, use graphic organizers for arranging their information, and create an informative slideshow as a business pitch to the class (criteria and rubric included). Students get really into it!

In the international economy project, students research a foreign nation's economy and input the information either on a poster or in a slideshow. This project fits best in any economics or civics class. Students will sign up for a nation to learn about the its economic system, goods and services, national income/spending, factors of production, development, international trade/involvement, and will culminate in their own reflection.
