Explore and More activities are meant to be a mix of reading, writing, research, and technology-based lesson(s) to help students explore a particular topic. In this activity, students will explore Easter Traditions! This is a perfect digital activity to use around Easter!
You can choose to either share this with each student OR you could complete this as a whole-group lesson.
This activity can be shared with students via any online platform using Google. I use Google Classroom, but you can share in Google Drive or via a link. The activity is actually built with Google Slides.
This activity covers:
*Origins of Easter (you could always cut this section out if needed, as it does give the religious link)
*The tradition of candy!
*The origins of the Easter Egg!
*Some stats on Easter Candy!
*Easter Parades
*What were they thinking primary source activities.
*Famous Easter Sites!
(Students use the online version of Google Earth to explore these points of interest)
