There is a good mix of older and modern day inventors as well as women and men. I usually partner up the students and have them do the research as a team using books from the library or online encyclopedias. For the final project,I have students create a poster with all the facts to present to the class about their famous inventors.

I've included two blank organizers (one for female inventors and one for male inventors) in case you have other famous inventors that you'd like to use for this project also.
