What educators are saying

I used this activity as a lesson plan for a substitute teacher. It was engaging for the students and the sub did not have to teach!

Description

Research is showing coloring in the classroom activates the brain!

In this activity, students will use sine, cosine, and tangent functions to find missing angle measures in right triangles.

There is a total of 15 problems. In the first 9 problems, the students are given right triangles with two side lengths and a missing angle. There are 3 problems each requiring sine, cosine and tangent. In the final three problems, all three side lengths of the triangle are given.

Then, they will color the design by the colors listed next to their solutions!

Even my high schooler's like this activity. They refer to it as, "Color Therapy!"
