April 2021: This unit has gotten a big overhaul! When I first designed this unit, I just placed the lessons in the order they appear in the curriculum, but I found this was a more logical way to teach it, as many outcomes in Cluster 3 are important at the beginning of the school year (conflict resolution, bullying, etc.).
This bundle contains three units. Each unit directly corresponds with the Manitoba Grade 1 Social Studies Curriculum, but each unit takes outcomes from all three clusters. This bundle contains a lesson idea and interactive journal page for each knowledge outcome in the curriculum. (Sometimes there is more than one activity for each outcome too.)

Each unit comes bundled with two files--a PDF version and an editable PowerPoint version. If you teach Social Studies in another language (German or French perhaps?) you can edit the text boxes on the student pages to meet your needs. The teacher information pages are not editable, but all the student pages are! You do need to have PowerPoint in order to edit the file.
*BONUS* You can still access the old SS unit by downloading the "bonus" file in this bundle. Some of the older lessons didn't make it into the new version!
