Description

Culturally Paired: Readings for the ELA & World Language Classrooms

This packet contains a 1150-word informational text about the practice of footbinding in Ancient China. The review worksheets have 40 practice questions (multiple choice, short answer, fill in the blank, true/false) that check reading and vocabulary comprehension, and prompts for further research, writing, and discussion. We think it is most suitable for ELA classrooms for Grades 9 thru 12, but it could be used in middle school classrooms as well as university-level courses.
