This problem solving map helps students analyze and break apart their problem solving skills. Give your student a problem solving scenario then have them use the problem solving guide to identify the problem, come up with 3 solutions, identify the consequences of each of their solutions, choose the best solution, & explain why that's the best solution.

There is also a problem solving review for students who have put into practice their problem solving skills into the classroom, community, or at home allowing them to reflect upon their problem solving by asking if they made a good solution, if they would use that solution again, and if not what would they do next time they were in that problem again.
