Description

This video is a fun and colorful Pop Art desert landscape project!

A Pop Art landscape allows you to add polka dots and stripes to your mountains, cactus, and sunset—how fun is that?!

This video will walk through all the steps to paint a desert landscape—however, this activity can easily be modified and done with simple supplies like crayons and paper. I wanted to create a teaching video for the older students out there that might be looking for a bit more of a challenge with their creative art projects!

The following supplies will be needed for the painting option:

  • canvas or canvas board
  • paint
  • paint brush/water/paper towel
  • this teaching video

The following supplies will be needed to modify this lesson:

  • paper
  • crayons, colored pencils, or markers
  • pencil and eraser
  • this teaching video

All you (or your kids) need to do is hit play, and I’ll take it from there.

You will find more videos HERE.

Of course my Pop Art coloring sheets go GREAT with this video! I have them for many times of year. You can search all that I have HERE.

Specifically, you may like my Wild West—Rodeo Interactive Coloring Sheets to pair with this video!

We are all going through a lot right now due to COVID-19. To help teachers, parents and caregivers through this time I am publishing free teaching videos on Facebook and my YouTube channel as often as I can.

Teachers—please feel free to share this video with your parents as a resource to help them provide art-themed remote learning activities for their kids while they’re at home. Simply send them the link to this video here on TPT.

Parents—please feel free to share this with other parents who are looking for remote learning activities they can do with their children while schools are closed. Simply send them the link to this video here on TPT.
