George Washington Kindergarten Emergent Reader- President's Day

This emergent reader little book is a great way to practice reading with young students. This story uses a predictable pattern, "George Washington, George Washington, what do you see?" to support emerging readers. It would be great to use for browsing boxes, independent reading, guided reading groups, or Read to Self.

This story includes several President's Day vocabulary words, such as George Washington, Washington Monument, Betsy Ross, American flag, bald eagle, the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and Abraham Lincoln.

This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!
