This Mindful Math Second Grade Two-Digit Subtraction unit is a comprehensive math curriculum that was designed to be teacher and student-friendly and includes 10 lessons to teach subtracting double digit numbers (review of basic strategies - mental math, subtracting ten from any number, open number line subtraction, using ten frames and base ten models to subtract, split strategy (expanded form), shortcut strategy (compensation), traditional algorithm, using a hundreds chart to subtract within 100, and one and two-step subtraction word problems).
