Description
This is a 16 page colorful, fun Google slide show that offers direct and explicit instruction on Greek and Latin roots. It covers what a root is, why we learn it and how to use them with specific examples. It hits all the checkboxes for a Marzano observation with innovating marks. It uses whole-brain strategies and I paired it with the task cards by the Literacy loft. The last slide explains how I transformed my room into Ancient Greece and the extra things I did to take this lesson over the top!
