Halloween Logic Puzzle for Middle School - Halloween Math Activity

Looking for a no prep Halloween activity for your middle school math class to do this October? This holiday logic puzzle is sure to be a hit with your students!

This traditional grid-style logic puzzle has students match 5 students' first and last names, Halloween costume, time they left their house to go trick-or-treating, and favorite Halloween activity. Students are given 10 clues to help them solve the puzzle.

Logic puzzles are a great tool to help with problem solving, as they require students to do alot of critical thinking and reasoning. This puzzle is a great way to keep students engaged, while still working, around Halloween, as it incorporates the fun of the holiday into math class at a time when it is very hard for students to focus.

This logic puzzle is completely unique from my version 2 Halloween Logic Puzzle. The 2 puzzles have completely different "stories" and clues.

• This puzzle is slightly harder than the other puzzle, as there is one more category to match up in this puzzle. (Please note that while the version 2 puzzle is slightly simpler than this one, it is still not easy and is meant to challenge middle school students!)
• Purchasing both logic puzzles (or my mini bundle of Halloween puzzles) will allow you to differentiate with the logic puzzles in your classroom!
