What educators are saying

Awesome resource for my kinders as they learn proper formation and placement of letters. I love that there is a large and small version, one for display and one to put on student desks. This visual aid is simple, yet fantastic.
Hands down one of the best things I have purchased. It changed my first graders handwriting in a week. They are so much more aware of their penmanship.

Description

Are your students writing letters in all sizes and shapes? Handwriting and letter sizing is a struggle for many children. These alphabet formation posters are great for helping students from pre-k to second-grade form letters correctly. This resource includes a desk set for student desks and printable practice.

If you are looking for: posters that show correct handwriting letter formations and a mnemonic saying to help students remember letter sizing, then this resource is for you!

Mnemonic saying: I refer to the difference in letter sizes as giraffe letters (bdfhklt), chicken letters (aceimnorsuvwxz), and monkey letters (gjpqy). My second graders refer to this visual often! I will even hear them say, "that's a monkey letter" when writing letters. :)

This is an easy-to-print and prep visual!
