IB PYP Approaches to Learning Posters - Colorful Brights

This poster set features the 5 IB PYP Approaches to Learning. Each poster includes the Approach to Learning, an associated “I can…” statement, and an image to help your students interpret and remember the skills. These visuals can be used to promote emphasis on using different skills in all areas of learning and as part of your unit displays to reinforce the emphasized skills in that unit. The Approaches to Learning consist of Research, Self-Management, Thinking, Social, and Communication Skills. In addition to the “I can” statement posters, I also included an identical poster with a list of the sub-skills that fall within each overarching skill. While these may be over the heads of your youngest learners, I find these to be useful teacher references to remind myself of all of the components of each skill.
