K-5 General Music Outlined Curriculum:

This curriculum plan is for K-5th grade general music. For each grade level you have: an overview of the concepts introduced, a 9 month/unit breakdown (in my setting, each month includes 4 days of music per class, so these unit plans are in 4 sections), and 36 lesson outlined that are outlined with the elements that are prepared, presented and practiced.

This is a tool that I created for myself to make lesson planning throughout the year much easier, and I wanted to share it with you! I find that a year long overview helps me stay on track. We are all in different teaching situations so you may need to modify to meet your own needs.

K-5 Music Curriculum Word Wall Cards:

This resource features 169 pages containing 505 word wall cards for grades K-5. These cards include grade level title cards for, important words and definitions (dynamics, tempo, movement, voices), solfege cards, rhythmic cards (with images of the rhythm, name, value), instrument cards (with images of the instrument and the title), meter cards, treble clef cards, music genres, music time periods, and more! Cards are color coded by grade level.
