1. COMPARE LENGTH:

Centers:

• Learners compare the length of pictured objects with the length of the caterpillars.
• Learners compare the length of the pictured objects with the length of a 5-stick (Printable or use your math manipulatives).
• Learners can also compare the pictures with other pictures to practice making comparison statements.

2. COMPARE WEIGHT:

• 6 Worksheets for comparing weight and telling about the difference.

Centers:

• Learners compare the weight of pictured objects with the weight of an apple.
• Learners compare the weight of the pictured objects with the weight of other objects.

3. COMPARE VOLUME / CAPACITY

• 4 Worksheets for comparing volume and telling about the difference. (more capacity less capacity)

Centers:

• Learners compare the capacity of pictured containers (which represent common containers you will be able to use for the actual comparing) with the capacity of a cup.
• Learners compare the capacity of the pictured objects with the capacity of other pictured containers.
• Learners count pom poms as they use them to fill the containers and then make comparisons using the number of pom poms. Each individual set is also sold separately.

Pick 2 snowball set cards and count the sets. Identify sets as more or less by placing them on the activity mat in the correct space and write the numbers.

Learners answer the question by clipping the snowman with more / fewer snowballs.

Learners place set / nmber cards in the boxes in the order they pick them. Then they circle the words "__is more than __" or "is less than" to complete the statement.

2. Comparing Groups Using "__is more than __", "is less than" and "is equal to"

Same as above, but with "is equal to" as a choice as well.

3. Compare numbers or sets using the GIVEN language.

Learners pick 2 number or set cards and make a true comparison by placing them where they make sense and then writing the numerals.
