Literature Circles and Conversation Circles in Kindergarten through 2nd

This product is a complete guide to conducting FUN, meaningful conversation circles and/or literature circles in primary grades! Its focus is on Speaking and Listening. (Really! Kindergarten, first grade, second grade... this is for you!)

Conversation circles and/or literature circles are the perfect way to teach speaking and listening standards in primary grades! This product gives you all the resource and information you need to get started! In this product you will find: specific information on conducting talk circles, bright, engaging rule posters, "talk moves" with specific gestures and instructions, and (my favorite!) "talking turn" cards! These "talking turns" help students to monitor their participation in class conversations and make sure that all students are actively engaged.
