1. Students begin each lesson with a VOWEL DECODING PAGE. This resource provides students with an effective strategy for reading decodable words. In addition, a visual is provided for each vowel sound so students can refer back to a concrete symbol when they are unsure of a word. Each decoding page includes single and multisyllabic words as well as common suffixes for easy differentiation.

2. VOWEL WORD SORTS that feature words with common suffixes as well as suggested fluency practice.

3. COPY, COVER WRITE and CHECK spelling templates that can be easily differentiated to meet a variety of student spelling levels.
