Maureen & The Virus - Part Two : Washing Our Hands

I wrote and illustrated this series during February of 2020 while the Principal of Magic Kindergarten in Shanghai. Professional medical oversight was provided by a variety of friends within the US and Chinese health care systems.

The intent was to provide a way for parents to spend structured time with their children while at home during the SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) lockdown in China, to learn more about viruses and hygiene, and to ease worries as best as possible about an unknown future of the outbreak.

This chapter also includes a series of illustrated steps in recommended hand washing technique which can be printed and used as posters.

The original version was written in both Chinese and English, while this second downloadable edition was revised for an English-speaking audience at the end of March 2020, when the pandemic was spreading with great alarm through Europe and the US.
