What educators are saying

I used this for my students that always seemed to finish faster than their peers. It kept them engaged and they did not distract those around them.
This was a very fun end-of-year activity that we did together as a class. I went through it with my students.

This resource includes a printable (pdf) classroom or distance learning packet AS WELL AS a digital version meant to be used with Google Classroom.

Students will love completing logic puzzles, deducting, and inferring as they follow the Crime Scene Protocol and unlock the mystery of the Sabotaged Water Slide

This Deductive Logic Activity is an engaging workshop that’s super easy to set up.

It takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete and can be taught all at once or in chunks.

Students start off by reading, What Happened at Splatter Town? A brand new water slide, called the Squidly Express, has just opened for the summer season, but someone has sabotaged the water lines with a disgusting purple ink! Time to shut down the park and do a full investigation. Can your students solve the case of the Sabotaged Slide?

Students will analyze suspects through witness statements, alibis, inferences, and trace evidence. It all leads up to a final footprint and hair analysis which reveals the culprit. This CSI Activity is GOOGLE Classroom Friendly or Print and Go!
