Description
This is a planning page that students can use to help them create a plan for writing a persuasive/opinion 5-paragraph essay. The planning page includes:
-a space for students to introduce their topic and state their opinion or claim
-spaces for students to provide reasons for their opinion and support their reasons with evidence
-a space for students to present an opposing position to their opinion and state why they still believe their position
-a space for students to plan their conclusion by restating their opinion and leaving their reader with a closing thought
-spaces throughout for students to plan for the transitions they will include
