Fun game to help young students practice fractions!
Includes:
-Pizza Pan
-Pizza Halves
-Pizza Fourths
-Dice
-How-to-play Instructions
Object of the game is for students to complete three pizzas. Play includes grabbing halves or fourths of a pizza, putting a slice back, taking a slice from the other player, and losing a turn.
My students LOVE this game! It is interesting to observe them as they playing to see if they choose to take a fourth or a half from the other person. It's a great way to practice equal shares, focus on which fraction is bigger, while practicing the math words [whole, half, fourth].
