This life cycle art activities package offers 5 differentriated life cycle art templates suitable for pre-kg-to grade 2 students. The life cycle art template are differentiated to includes ones where students just color the stages, and others where they have to cut the stages and match to the terms or even draw the stages themselves. (see previews)
ALL THESE TEMPLATES REINFORCE LEARNING ABOUT THE LIFE CYCLE STAGES OF A PLANT but offer differentiation to meet the needs of different ages and abilities of students.
Included:
template 1- Includes two simple Giant flower versions
5 circles that show the stages of the plant cycle that are glued around a middle 6th circle- students make a simple flower by gluing the circles together. This template comes with different terms on the flower.
In one version the stages are:
Seed
Seed with leaves (seedling)
Small plant
Plant
Large plant
The words: “Life Cycle Of a Plant” is written on the middle circle
In the other version the stages are:
Seed
Germination
Roots and Stem
Flowers
Pollination
Each stage has a brief explanation in writing.
The words: “Plant life cycle” is written on the middle circle
template 2- flower in pot with open petals
There are adaptations and variations to the open petal flower
1. In one version the students just color and asseble
2. In another version the students draw the stages, directly onto the petals to match the terms
3. In another version, the students cut out the pictures and then glue to the petals to match the stages
The terminology for these also comes differentiated as outlined in the first template.

This art is the same as template 1 but on a smaller scale and the plant life cycle art here has been adapted to be simpler for younger students so they only have to color the stages and them glue the circles to create a flower and them put it all together as a flower in a pot.
