Description

One of my favorite Michael Jackson songs, "Man in the Mirror" is the perfect way to have students take a look at how they can make a difference in their world. The song is a perfect way to begin the conversation about making a change in your community and world.
Songs make a great impact on student learning, and when there is a chance to analyze the text, the learning that takes place is unbelievable.

Song lyrics, 8 close reading questions, and theme/author's purpose graphic organizers are all included in with this guide.

Students will deepen their understanding and use critical thinking skills to understand the meaning of the song with the questions included.

The lyrics, the metaphors, and the overall theme of this song will create conversation with your students which will have them thinking deeply while reading the text.

Look for more close reading songs soon in my TpT store. :)

Thanks for looking.
