You can take them through the process and vote on your own class president (stuffed animal). There are loads of activities included. The focus reading strategy is compare and contrast although, there is SO MUCH more included. Each day a different story will focus on comparing and contrasting either characters or text. You will be able to hold a class election of your choice or use the two characters I have included to vote for a class mascot or president. All election papers are made both ways! Choose Freddy the Frog and Oscar the Dog or create your own and use the templates included. Each week includes daily lesson plans, posters, parent connect letter, original strategy songs, comprehension strategies, literacy connections, extension activities, sort activities, and crafts.
