Description

This is a no-prep lesson introducing students to Fascism using primary sources from Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. Students work in pairs and then discuss their findings. It's a rigorous lesson and includes a modified version for struggling students.

This resource is EDITABLE and includes hard copy plus digital versions

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

1. A slide deck with a Do Now question, an introduction to the rise of fascism with guided notes (students write whatever is underlined on the slides). There are 2 very brief videos, 1 of Hitler speaking and the other of Mussolini. The slides are in Google but can be downloaded as PowerPoint if you prefer

2. Student handouts. the modified version has the main ideas in bold and includes sentence starters. Each student answers 2 short response questions, then asks their partner a guided question.

3. A homework assignment

4. Answer keys

5. A lesson plan
