Reading Poetry Smartboard Lesson and Activity was created using Smart Notebook software.
The lesson includes 20 slides to introduce reading poetry CCSS RL2.4, RL 2.10, & RL3.10. Your students will be able to read, Identify, and respond to poetry using Acrostic, Cinquain, Rhyming, and Alliteration forms while identifying rhyming words, beats, and patterns in poetry. The lesson includes a list of the CCSS addressed, objective, essential question, Introduction, lesson with examples, and extension activity sheets for Interactive Reading Notebooks and classroom Anchor Chart.
