I have searched high and wide to find emergent readers that my students can read independently to teach them about Rosa Parks & Ruby Bridges, but always came up dry, so I created them!
Now my students can read an 'informational text' independently during Black History month- and so can yours!

~Simple sentences on each page telling the story of Rosa Parks
