What educators are saying

Super engaging! Loved seeing my students problem-solve and work together to find a solution. Thank you!
My students loved this activity! I teach small group of gifted and talented students and all of them were engaged. Perfect STEM activity that was simple to incorporate in my classroom!

Description

This STEM has a challenge for students to save the gummy worm Fred from falling in the water because he can't swim! It's great for a back to school or team building activity! This is a great way to teach your students how to work together, as well as to teach how to think outside the box!

You will need to have gummy worms, gummy life savers, paper clips, and a cup in order to do this activity.

This packet includes:

- Fred's story and student instructions

- An experiment log handout for your students to complete during the activity
