These book list inventories are designed to improve your productivity by giving you a quick guide to prominent book features. Also included is a reference guide that gives you insight into WHY we look for these key teaching points when selecting picture books to use with students.

Each book has been meticulously studied by a team of SLPs and marked for 16 key teaching points that are important when choosing a book to use to develop stronger narrative skills in children. I’ve also identified narrative structure, age recommendation, and high-frequency sounds, AND MORE.

While I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and have that mindset when putting these book lists together, these narrative book lists are appropriate for any educator or parent to use.
