Description
This St. Patrick's Day Accounting digital activity lesson file is a DIFFERENT, ENGAGING, and FUN way to review Income Statements and Balance Sheets - a great break from the textbook. This review does not have to be completed around St. Patrick's Day. It is appropriate any time after the following concepts are covered (which is usually around February or March).
Concepts covered in this digital activity:
- Students explore the journey of an Irish Entrepreneur who starts her own Irish Bakery - Maeve's Irish Bakery.
- Students create an income statement.
- Students create a balance sheet.
- Students analyze financial statements and make a recommendation as to how Maeve can make her business more profitable.
- Students also drag and drop circles to complete an activity to determine the difference between consumables and equipment.
NO PREP! Students will complete the activity file in about 50 minutes.
TEACHER’S KEY INCLUDED along with teacher tips on how to use this resource!
There is also a SUPER EASY to create BULLETIN BOARD included that require NO CUTTING. Just print and hang! Dress up your Accounting Classroom for March!
