What educators are saying

I have never seen a group of 6th graders more excited to do some coloring than this group! My class loved coloring the designs and even took it upon themselves to use packing tape to make the paper look glass-like.
This was a wonderful activity to do with my students right before the winter break. I teach Global studies and we talked about global religions so it fit with my class. The students enjoyed the activity and they came out so nice. I even had some students take it home to give to their parents.

Description

This is a set of 12 "stained glass" holiday coloring pages that includes designs for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.

There are 12 designs included in this set:

  • Christmas tree
  • Christmas ornament
  • Poinsettia
  • Stocking
  • Holly leaves
  • Wreath
  • Gift package
  • Candy cane
  • Ornament with snowman
  • Star of David
  • Menorah
  • Kwanzaa candles

It's easy as color, cut, and display!

Color the pages to look like stained glass windows. Encourage children not to use the same two colors next to one another and use as many variations of one color as possible.

An easy way to do this is to provide children with markers, crayons, and colored pencils and encourage them to use all of them to color their pages.

This will allow them to create more variety of colors. For example, if children use a red crayon, a red colored pencil, and a red marker, they will get three different shades of the color red/pink.

Once the sheets are colored, students will cut off the instructions at the bottom and trim away the white edges. This produces a “stained glass” panel.

These are beautiful when displayed on a bulletin board or down your hallway!
