Tennessee Symbols

This unit includes everything you need to put together an informational book on Tennessee's state symbols. This coorelates with the new TN Social Studies standards that are being adopted and implemented for the 2014-2015 school year. Included are 4 different versions of the book to meet the needs and differentiate instruction for all of your learners.
-A craft version with patterns for all of the symbols (hands on activities)
-A writing version for your higher level learners. This will help to recall facts from the text.
-A coloring version with blackline symbols for students to color.
-A drawing version for students to illustrate and label the symbols.
Also, I have included suggested texts for you to read to your students and educate them on the Volunteer State. I hope you enjoy!
