Thanksgiving Sudoku Puzzles for Middle School - Math Activity

Looking for a no prep Thanksgiving activity for your middle school math class to do this November? This set of 3 holiday-themed word sudoku puzzles is sure to be a hit with your students!

These Thanksgiving Sudoku Puzzles are meant to be a fun challenge for students to complete! Students need to complete traditional 9x9 sudoku puzzles (but instead of numbers, they are arranging the letters in the word THANKFUL and a pumpkin symbol). There are 3 differentiated levels of puzzles so that you can challenge each student in your class at the appropriate level! (Answer keys are included.)

This activity is a great critical thinking and reasoning exercise for students and a good way to keep students engaged, while still working, around Thanksgiving, as it incorporates the fun of the holiday into math class at a time when it is very hard for students to focus. It is also a great exercise for early finishers in November (or anytime)!
